phew, what a day
lesson at PWH. i was the 'acting' doctor. ok, i admit i didn't act like a doctor at all. perhaps i was so unready. or perhaps i just can't get serious in situations like this. hmmmm i'm sure i won't behave like that though by the time i graduate.
learnt the parts of the stethoscope, and how to use it (well i'm sure most of us still don't know the correct ways of mastering the stethoscope. we'd have done a great job already if we plug it in our ears correctly). oh no, i learnt how to be a 'patient' patient (a patient being patient) - 3 other guys simultaneously listening to my breath and valve sounds, while i had to stand still and breathe in and breathe out. ok, i think i do exceed requirements as a patient patient. lol
afterwards, went back to CU. well, after several 'rearrangements' of travelling plans back to CU from PW, I became the 11st passenger (originally i was among the first 5 who arrived at the taxi stand), and I had to take a taxi, all by myself. and of course, i paid the fee, all by myself too. i felt like a millionaire on my way back to CU... -_-" the trip was short, but the interval between each 'beep' of that stupid fare/distant counter was even shorter. oh well... not meaning to blame anyone though. i was just the unlucky one i guess.
and then, health ex training + O day briefing session. i'm working on 27th from morning till 5pm, and i'm in the only group that needs to stay behind and tidy things up... ok, so i'm getting $40... + a memo pad. how generous!
then, NA swimming gala. There wasn't any expectation at first, but after doing the heats for 50m freestyle + breaststroke, i entered the finals. finally got silver medal for 50m freestyle. that's really something for me hehe
and so glad to meet friends there too. trista + sarah + lamfrenze + some lsc see-hings + friends from medic + janet
so glad to have janet with me too, all the way till i decided to leave.
something happened after 50m freestyle.
so many question in my head. questions left unanswered.
but thank you.
on the way back home
so much thoughts poured in
but i decided that some should be wiped out
and there was a moment
i smiled to myself
i really did.
